Wake up, wake up, O King!!

His countrymen are dying like ants on a randomn street,

There is no oxygen for the dying to breath,
But the King says "No lockdown"!!

On the verge of collapse, is the entire health system,
A disease has caused havoc though it's a small term;
But the King says "No lockdown"!!

In the hospitals, no beds are vacant,
Every day, thousands of dead bodies are getting burnt,
But the King says "No lockdown"!!

A Mother is helpless, watching her young son die;
She wants him to live, but can't do anything except to cry;
But the King says "No lockdown"!!!

The countrymen have gone crazy just in a fortnight;
As the deadly virus has attacked with all its might;
But the King says "No lockdown"!!!

Oh great Monarch, What is wrong with you?
What is preventing you, from seeing the obvious truth?
Why can't you judge what is more important?
The lives of your masses or your development stunt??
Wake up, wake up, before it's far too late,
This germ will kill many more before one can even anticipate,
Death will be a common sight all around,
Screams of pain will be heard and no other sound,
Declare a Lockdown, save the lives,
Of the ones who made you the King, with all their strives.
