Khubsurat Log

मुंबई....

गर्मी के दिनों में थी, शनिवार की वो रात
सूरज ढला और, सब आ गए बाहर एक साथ
लम्बी लेम्बोर्गिनी और भाड़े पे ली हुई कार
पार्टीयां हो गई थी चालू, सब जा रहे मैइन बज़ार

कुछ ढूँढ रहे कोई एक मौका
उन्हें जानना था कि तुम कौन हो
हवा का आ गया एक जोका
चैन ले गया सब का ऐसे जो

मैं बैठा था बीच में, अपनी प्रियतमा के साथ
कर रहे थे समझने की कोशिश, हम इस हलचल को
पागलोंकी तरह घूम रहे लोग, ले कर हाथो में हाथ
कोई इधर जाये कोई उधर, जूठा प्यार जताने को

हम इस में फिट नहीं बैठते यार
क्योकि हम जैसे है वैसे रहते है ओ ओ
मैं कुछ जरूर करना चाहता था
उस अफरा तफरी से बाहर निकलने को

तुम मस्त दिखती हो
इधर वो सवाल मत पूछा करो
सिर्फ एक बात से डरता हु ओ ओ
की कही हम भी बन न जाए, कौन?

Wo Shaam Kuchh Ajeeb Thi

At the time of evening the beauty of every human female increases. This is a natural phenomenon. The evening acts like a catalyst to the process of her looking better than other hours of the day. This song wonderfully describes the relation between a dusk(evening) and a girl's beauty. It says "That evening was a bit weird, This evening is also a bit weird, She was very close to me yesterday, She is close to me Today too...." Indirectly the song-writer wants to establish a direct relationship between the beauty of a girl and the evening time.

I have tried to enact the scenes as per the words of the song although the app used (Animoto) does not work properly else it would have made a great song out of it. Yet I think it is quite enjoyable thanks to the great music of the song.

I am thankful to the songwriter Anand Bakshi saab, the music director, the singer great Kishor Kumar saab and all the websites from where I have taken the different photos.

A sincere effort has been made to make this song as tasteful, cute and beautiful as possible.
